Like a lot of guys, I always thought that exercise was the key to losing weight. After working with a dietician, I have learned that diet is just as crucial and maybe even more crucial. I'm still a heavy dude, but I've lost 70 pounds over the past seven months. Part of my success has been due to avoiding certain foods. Basically, sugars and carbs can easily undo many of the weight loss benefits you gain from exercise.
Now, I avoid soda, sweet tea, pasta, white bread, french fries, and orange juice. I've been shedding pounds like crazy. If you've resolved to lose weight in 2012, please feel free to check out my article: Yahoo Voices = Five Foods to Avoid so You Can Lose Weight -------------------- Vanquish fear and Panic!

Processed food, white flour, white sugar, etc. are the devil. Though I know its fallen somewhat out of favor, I've found cutting down on the carbs helps shed some excess blubber fast.
I've ready contradictory reports as to if alcohol consumption bloats you up or not. Most say that it does, so probably best to reduce booze intake. Just some thoughts. -------------------- |
