Hey everyone. I enjoy seeing a forum like this for people who want to do their part if something big comes down on us. Truth is we are all we have for the first line of defense at home and to our neighbors. Don't take me wrong though, I am a firm believer in our military and our law enforcement agencies. However, they can't be everywhere at once.
We don't have to live in fear of every second of our lives but if something happens we better be prepared to take a stand and better yet help those who can't get through whatever disaster might hit. I have several elderly neighbors I know I will be running to help along with my family's help because we prepare and think about these issues.
This takes training and preparing. Many have no way of learning these simple skills of survival. It takes individuals like yourselves who are willing to put out a way to make this training available.
Look at how bad things are when a natural disaster happens. People are scattered and have no plan of action. How much more will the confusion be if it is terrorist or any "bad guy" type of event.
Kudos on all the head members of this site who decided enough is enough. You have come together here to create a way for those who want to do their part if anything should happen. I commend all of you for stepping forward and providing a way.
