BOARD RULES

1. Discrimination. No one will ever be discriminated here at YCD. Any one caught discriminating another member will be banned immediately with no questions asked.

2. Profanity. Currently allowed but if a member is caught deliberately posting it, an immediate ban will issued.

3. Spam. Our definition of spam is the following; pornographic images/links, hacking attempts, advertising (with out approval) and anything deemed not appropriate is not allowed. Failure to follow this rule will result in a raised warning to include but not limited to an immediate ban.

4. Flaming/Harassment. Co-exists with rule one. Insulting member(s) with abrasive or abusive language is not tolerated. Depending on how sever the harassment; either a warning or a ban will be issued. Its up to the staff's discretion on how sever the punishment should be.

5. Flaming/Harassment of Staff. Bad mouthing staff members is strictly prohibited. Disputes and concerns about a certain moderator may be brought to the staff's attention as long as the E-mail or Personal Message is and remains professional. Failure to follow this rule will result in severe consequences to include an immediate ban.

6. Politics/Religion and Conspiracy Topics. We do not allow these topics to be posted. Failure to comply with this rule will result in issued warning to include but not limited to an immediate ban.

7. Modified Weapons. Spud (potato) guns, airsoft guns, homemade guns and otherwise dangerous weapons (example - modified M4 outside its original intent) is not permitted at YCD for liability and safety reasons. Failure to comply will result in a punishment that's not limited to an immediate ban

8. Pictures. Pictures that show improper use of firearms will result in an immediate ban.

9. Necroposting. YCD defines necroposting as the following - making an old inactive thread active again by posting something new in it. However, due to the nature of the website, we allow this only if it contributes to the topic. Non-punishable offense.

10.Rank Posting. Is defined as the following; making a useless post that does not contribute to the topic. It's up to the staff to whether or not deem a post as a rank post or not. Non-punishable offense, but a verbal warning will be issued.

11. Grammar/Spelling. All members are expected to employ good grammar, spelling and punctuation. Proper English shows maturity and will generate more respect towards the member. "Internet jabber" is looked down here and degrades the image of the speaker. Incomprehensible statements are subject to deletion without warning. This rule is more of a guideline and is not punishable. Just remember to employ good grammar if you want to become a recognized member.


Buy Sale and Trade Forum Rules

1. Email Addresses. Please do not post email addresses in your sales thread or reply. There are a couple of ways people can get a hold of you; these are accessible via your profile. Please complete your profile page and direct people there.

2. Thread Crapping. Example: Someone has an asking price of $300 and someone goes on about how unfair that price is. If you have a disagreement, please PM or contact that user and keep it between the buyer and yourself.

3. Post Classification. Please clearly mark your post title with: For Sale, For Trade, Willing To Buy or Willing To Sell. The aberrations maybe used instead but not all members understand those.

4. Thread Bumping. Is allowed once every day. YOUR ORIGINAL POST COUNTS AS A BUMP. If you are caught excessively bumping, we will warn you the first time. After that though, your thread faces being locked or deleted. Please note when bumping your posts, assume that the user would want an additional piece of information or comment rather than just typing "bump". Doing this will still have the same effect, however it will contribute more to your thread.

5. Retailing. No retailers may sell items here without the approval of the staff. Refer to Board Rule number 3.

6. Paypal Fees, Charging Extra. Under PayPal User Agreements Section 4.5 and 4.7, no party may charge extra for PayPal's fees. Charging extra for PayPal's service is against their policy. All sales completed here via PayPal must not incorporate a "PayPal fee" into their prices. This is under PayPal's policy, not YCD's. We wish for all buyers and sellers to engage in safe transactions, while still utilizing a fast and convenient method.

7. Limitation of Threads. You may have only one thread of the same sale. You CANNOT have multiple threads of the same content, and continue bumping all of them. This is so all members have a fair environment to post in. If you wish for a clean, new thread, PM a moderator for permission. Double-posting threads displaying the same items is not allowed unless a moderator has given permission.

8. Necroposting (posting in a thread that has been dead for more than 30 days). Necroposting policies are slightly different in the BST forums. Please do not bring up months-old sale ads that are inactive by posting in them. This takes up a space from a seller who is actually actively bumping their ads. If the sale has not had a bump in over a month, it may be considered "dead" in which the seller may be unavailable or no longer wishes for the sale to continue. Instead of posting, please PM the seller, asking if the items are still available.

9. Ebay Auctions. No posting Ebay links, links to other forums, or links to other forums containing Ebay links. Ebay's links are not allowed here because the auction expires too quickly and the links become invalid. This includes posting links to Ebay stores, or any other retail store of your own.

10. The Use Of The Reply Button. While using the BST area, we would like for you to refrain from using the quote button when replying to the first post. This basically copies everything to include pictures and takes up space once you post. Not everyone likes to look at the same pictures over and over to find the updates.

11. The Sale Of Firearms. We currently do not allow the sale of firearms. Anyone caught selling a firearm will be issued a warning to include but not limited to an immediate ban.

12. The Sale Of Ammo. We do allow the sale of ammo as long as the parties involved follow local/state and Federal laws. Anyone caught selling ammo to someone who is not allowed to buy it will be immediately banned.
