Most of you (heck, all of you) have probably never seen me around online, or at airsoft events... the reason for that is that I'm very new to Airsoft. But I've been paintballing for close to a decade now, and I recently purchased a UTG M4 so that I can start playing with the local Airsofters.
Now I know this isn't gonna be popular, but it'll be honest -- I'm a paintballer first. I'm a super-duper-regular at the SpecialOpsPaintball forums, one of the leading scenario paintball sites on the net. That said, I don't feel any kind of rivalry is necessary between "us and you" or however you wanna look at it -- especially when you start talking about the point of this forum, which is applying mock-battle skills to real-life situations. To that end, paintball and airsoft share very, very close similarities, and I hope we can learn from each other.
Also, I'm currently a senior at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. I don't have what you might call "real" military experience yet, since they like to keep us cadets locked away in our little cage, but I have learned a lot since getting here. Most of it has to do with leadership and situational awareness, and I hope that my limited experience will be helpful.
In closing, I like the purpose and focus of this forum, and I hope I can teach and learn just like the rest of ya... thanks again, and see you on the forums.
