Hello, this is the first forum I've looked at seriously since the one I have been with since 2003, pretty much the only one during that time.

The potential is for this to be a good one, as long as we don't get 15,000 keyboard commandos, who are not really planning on some progress.

Ordinarily, I'd post little, read a lot, but this board is so new, perhaps I can help steer it a bit.

Also of interest is whether us old timers, (age: 58), will have a place here or if it will become the playground of young gamers, -no disrespect intended. Then it would simply be something of passing interest for me.

I have had advanced ECQB, and Terrorist Interdiction training, and run through several thousand round /yr. of 9mm and 7.62x 39 ammo, use a gas G-17 Airsoft pistol for F.O.F. training, with only a normal magazine capacity, don't do paintball.

We shall see what we shall see.

your wisdom and input will be greatly apreciated. PS, I'm 39 so I'm right behind you with little patients for arrogant know-it-alls on this new forum. Much of that was allowed on ASF in the past with newbies and young people, but it wont be tollerated here. Some of you may already noticed the change of attitude and language here on YCD as compared to ASF. However, we're not going to let this website be over run with toliet talk either. A harsh word here and there - fine, just keep it in check.
