In my ROTC type program we were at a Marine type training in mountain doing mountain survival/recon and we had to sleep in tents like this and it took us like 35 minutes to an hour. They can stand alot except flooding. You can sleep quite a bit of people. There are differant size tents. On ours there was a roof hatch to have a fire in it. Ares was also insulated so it was somewhat warm up in the mountains in novemeber. I think there practical if you and other people are planning on living in the forest for some reason.

Military surplus tents are great for just about any large group application, but they are not cheap when you get up to these large tents they avg. anywhere from $750 to as high as $2500. And jotra76, please check your spelling and grammar before posting ok .
