Figured I check this site out and it looked quite interesting so I figured I register.
Just a bit of background on me: I'm 28, a former Marine in the Infantry, and have slowly been putting together SHTF plans and what not.

I have combat experience so I wasn't some tool behind a desk. And that has made me a paranoid individual. Just looking to get better ideas for my wife and myself. Our plan is to get everything we need within the next 2 years. Hope, to get a lot of good info on here!

As a side note I did acquire a case of MRE's that have since been field stripped and are ready to go.

I understand. I'm slowly revamping the site to make it more user friendly. What that intails....you have to wait and see. Thanks for showing up and posting.

An OLD Jarhead.... well... not that old.. We were embedded with 8 marines during shield/storm....
(I was an Combat engineer)

Hopefully we can get something going on this forum again, at one point it was quite active but several things took their toll and slowed stuff down. Glad to have you on the board though man.

I did quite a bit of training with combat engineers. I was an 0351 so we'd always go to the same demolition classes as them.

Oorah, I was an 0311 1/5 A Co. 02-06. Hopefully you're still around on the boards somewhere.
